Bison Grid have been developing web apps and cms since 1999. We initially used architecture that worked easily with Microsoft because we had a couple of spare servers and some cracked copies of Windows and Access.
We’ve since come to our senses and use lots of Linux too.
Our core development framework embraces the best of both worlds... called DNN (Dot Net Nuke) we use it to build applications and content management systems in Microsoft .NET and benefit from DNN’s enthusiastic open source community with more than 700,000 registered members who collaboratively help us support the platform.
Developing business web applications in, ASP.NET, AJAX and XML (among others) obviously requires us to have an in depth understanding of SQL, MySQL and Oracle. Increasingly we’re working with Microsoft SharePoint too.
From a server perspective, we manage our own Bison Grid servers in secure data centres in London Docklands (naturally) and Maidenhead. If you’d prefer to host the applications on your own servers, our support & consultancy services are there to help you.
